1. Overview

PTRE ("PTRE", "the Service", "we") is a Gameforge-tolerated companion tool for the browser game OGame. The Service consists of the website ptre.chez.gg and the Discord bot PTRE#2518 (Application ID 512294332058042388). Both are operated by GeGe, an individual based in France (European Union).

By using PTRE - by browsing the website, by inviting the bot to a Discord server, or by using its commands - you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms") and to the Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to use Discord under Discord's own Terms of Service (13 years of age, or the higher minimum age set by your country - typically 16 in parts of the European Union). PTRE is a companion for OGame players and is not intended for minors below this age.

3. What PTRE does

PTRE provides the following features:

• Import OGame Spy Reports that users paste into a Discord channel or the website, using the Spy Report API key format defined by Gameforge.
• Store those reports in the private database of the PTRE Team associated with the Discord server or the user's account.
• Share reports and derived data (activity, coordinates, notes) among the members of the same PTRE Team.
• Expose supporting tools such as Galaxy Event Explorer, Space Explorer, Debris Field Explorer, Fleet Comparator, Activity Table.
• Interface with third-party OGame tools that support PTRE (EasyPTRE, OGLight, Ogame Infinity).

PTRE is offered free of charge. There is no premium tier, no advertising, and no resale of user data.

4. Discord bot - scope and intents

To operate, the PTRE#2518 bot requires the Message Content Intent. This intent is used exclusively to detect two kinds of messages that users voluntarily paste into a channel where the bot is present:

• OGame Spy Report API keys (short opaque strings shared by OGame's in-game "Share report" feature).
• PTRE bot commands, starting with the !ptre prefix.

Messages that do not match one of these patterns are discarded on the fly and never stored, logged, or shared with any third party. The bot does not read private messages, does not build user profiles, and does not use message content for any purpose beyond the two above.

5. Acceptable use

When using PTRE, you agree not to:

• Use the Service in a way that violates Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, or Developer Policy.
• Use the Service in a way that violates OGame's own Terms of Service or Gameforge's rules on third-party tools.
• Attempt to access data of another PTRE Team you do not belong to.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or automate PTRE beyond the documented API and bot commands.
• Submit fabricated or misleading spy reports, or use PTRE to harass or dox other players.
• Attempt to overload the Service (denial of service, abusive request rates, brute-force enumeration).
• Resell PTRE data or expose it publicly outside your PTRE Team without permission.

PTRE reserves the right to suspend a PTRE Team, a Discord server, or a user account that violates these rules, without prior notice when necessary to protect the Service or its users.

6. Data and privacy

The categories of data collected, the retention periods, the third parties involved, and the way to exercise your rights are described in the Privacy Policy. That document is an integral part of these Terms.

In short: PTRE processes Discord Guild IDs, the OGame Spy Reports you share, and the derived intelligence tied to your PTRE Team. It does not sell your data and does not use it to train AI systems.

7. Third-party services

PTRE relies on the following third parties to function. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to any data they receive:

• Discord Inc. - for delivering the bot, guild and channel identifiers, and message events.
• Gameforge GmbH - operator of OGame and the private OGame API used to fetch spy report content.
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) - hosting provider, Paris (eu-west-3) region, France (EU).
• Expedetector (www.expedetector.eu) - companion OGame data service, also operated by GeGe. PTRE pulls public data from Expedetector (in particular OGame highscore rankings) to enrich its own features.

PTRE is not affiliated with Discord Inc. or Gameforge GmbH beyond the standard developer / tolerated-tool relationship.

8. Availability and changes

PTRE is provided on a best-effort basis. It may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, incident response, or reasons outside of our control (Discord, Gameforge, or hosting outages). Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time; when a change materially affects users, an announcement will be posted on the PTRE Discord Server.

9. Disclaimer and liability

PTRE is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GeGe (as data controller and operator) shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to loss of OGame progress, loss of a Discord server, or loss of a PTRE Team database.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under mandatory law (in particular, consumer-protection law in the European Union).

10. Termination

You may stop using PTRE at any time by kicking the bot from your Discord server, by leaving your PTRE Team, or by requesting deletion of your data (see the Privacy Policy). PTRE may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms or if operating the Service becomes unlawful or unreasonable.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall be brought before the competent French courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules applicable in your country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated over time. The Last updated date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision, and material changes will be announced on the PTRE Discord Server. Continued use of PTRE after such a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
